Did you check out Liberation in SoHo? It's a small boutique that sells leather bags and are reasonably priced (for leather goods) and have lots of styles from edgy to classy. And also, around Island Beverly are two others similar shopping malls, Le Foret (right next to Island Beverly) and Causeway Place that also have fun stuff. Come back and visit soon!

oh you're right! Shanghai Tang is a great addition to this list! What a beautiful mix of modern Chinese accessories/apparel! When you're in Hong Kong or even China, it's also the best place to make a personally fitted Qi Pao! :) Thanks for the tip!!

Thanks so much for posting this. I grew up in Hong Kong (have moved away since then), so it's always nice to see a post about my former hometown! Great shopping tips as well! The only thing I'd add is for those seeking typical Chinese accessories or outfits to either head to Shanghai Tang (for a slightly edgier twist) or a Chinese Arts & Crafts emporium (more traditional). Every time I go back, I constantly get asked by my friends to bring me back a silk jacket or other items you can't get that easily outside of Asia.
